The eyes of the world are on NBA legend Kobe Bryant as he plays out his last year in the league before retiring. The eyes of the world's best women's soccer team are also on him. Players from the 2015 World Cup champion U.S. women's national team were in attendance for the Lakers' home loss against the Houston Rockets on Sunday. The team was actually invited to the game by Kobe.
Carli Lloyd, recently named FIFA World Player of the Year at the Ballon d'Or gala, looked to be having a blast while supporting Kobe.
Then the the squad took a pic with the five-time NBA champ after the game.
Kobe, a big soccer fan and supporter of Barcelona, is a bit familiar with the team. After all, he battled star Alex Morgan in a game of 'FIFA 16' in a commercial.
But the men's soccer scene was also represented by 2002 World Cup winer and Orlando City SC star Kaka.
But it was cool of Kobe to invite the world's best women's team to see one of the best players the world has ever seen as there aren't a whole lot of chances left to see him ball out.
