Philadelphia 76ers big man Jahlil Okafor allegedly got in a fight in Boston on Wednesday following his team's 84-80 loss to the Boston Celtics, as first reported by TMZ.
ESPN's Jeff Goodman confirmed the story, and quoted a source close to Okafor saying, "Apparently, they said, 'The 76ers suck and you guys are all losers. You'll never win a game.'"
The Sixers are aware of the report, but have no comment, via Philly Mag's Derek Bodner:"sixers state they are aware of Okafor report and are working to gather additional information, but have no further comment at this time."
The 19-year-old rookie felt he "was being heckled from the moment he left the club and felt threatened because people swarmed him on the street," according to TMZ, which reported that no one was arrested in the incident.
Philadelphia is 0-16 on the season.
