The English Football Association (FA) is looking into two more alleged events of coins being thrown at players, a spokesman said on Sunday.
Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland seemingly had a little thing thrown at him during the home victory over Aston Villa on Saturday, while Queens Park Rangers said a coin was thrown from among seeing Birmingham City supporters towards home players observing their second goal in a 2-0 triumph.
"The team will continue to examine video footage and liaise with all the Metropolitan and West Midlands authorities," a QPR statement said.
The FA is investigating an event the previous Saturday in which West Bromwich Albion's Chris Brunt said he'd been hit with a coin thrown by one of the own supporters of the team after an FA Cup defeat away to Reading.
"We know about the events at Stoke and Queens Park Rangers and looking into them," an FA spokesman said.
